Winnie’s Kids Kenya Mission

Children in Kenya struggle to attend school because of the cost of school uniforms and essential school supplies. As parents work hard and save to provide for their families, they also have to save to buy uniforms so each of their children can attend school. To help reduce that worry, Hazelwood has been providing funds for school uniforms and supplies for over 15 years now. The Kenya Mission is dedicated to bridging barriers that prevent students from attending school, specifically at Shivembe Primary School. I am so grateful for the church’s support for this mission that ensures students have equal access to education.

Now through May 11, Hazelwood is accepting donations to help Winnie’s Kids in Kenya. Each donation received will be matched, up to a total of $1,500 from the Missions & Benevolence Sulanke Trust. Please mark your contribution ‘Winnie’s Kids’ and be sure to make your donation separate from your regular offering to make things easier for our bookkeeper.

We will present Winnie with our offering during worship on Sunday, May 18. There are great needs in Kenya, so please prayerfully consider how you can help Winnie’s Kids.
